On the occasion of an interior architectural project in Melbourne, Mathilde Jonquière designed a 25m2 mural fresco for the main bathroom of an apartment. The inspiration of this mosaic made of glass paste, stoneware, gold tessera and satin-soft brass circles, was drawn from the « Dreaming », ancestral dreams. The theme revolves around the aboriginal Australian artists’ culture. It explains the origin of their world, their country and its inhabitants. This mosaic alcove vibrates like a setting in motion, invoking nature and mystery.
